Uterine Fibroid Treatment

Here at Ayurveda Hong Kong, we have solutions for uterine fibroids and uterine pain caused by abnormal growths in the uterus/endometrium.

Fibroids are growths in a women’s uterus, some call them abnormal, but actually fibroids are quite common in women, waxing and waning with the influx of changing hormones. Sometimes the growths become large and cause severe abdominal pain, blasting and heavy periods. In other cases they may have no smpytoms, it really depends on the woman’s experience. Usually growths like this are considered non cancerous. In Ayurveda fibroids come under a classification of gynecological disorders.

For a tutor or fibroid, Ayurveda classifies this under one of four reasons. Ama (toxins) leads to vitiation of srotas (Channels) and are presented as;

1 Excess flow

2 Block

3 Flowing through abnormal channels

4 Abnormal growth- cyst/tumor

There are some factors that contribute to fibroids, although it is not as simple as a Western Medical diagnosis. Hormonal imbalances, genetics, pregnancy are all factors. Although stress and dosha accumulation are usually the culprits.

Symptoms can be debilitating such as heavy bleeding and passing clots during menstruation, pelvic pain in thighs and lower back, mentrusla cramps, UTI’s and chronic need to urinate , sex pain during and after, fullness in abdomen.

An Ayurvedic Approach to treatment is considered under Granthi, meaning that an accumulation of Kapha has happened in the body, kasha dosha can also disturb pitta and vata dosas. It is unique to the individuals constitution. As symptoms can vary from person to person, the lines of treatment differ slightly, taking into consideration the unique physiological aspects of the person.

Here at Ayurveda Hong Kong, we have surmountable herbs and cleanses that can dissolve fibroids, provided they are not TOO large. I have seen personally that my fibroids have shrunk and the uncomfortable symptoms associated with them have vanishes into thin air. I was cooking since I was 12 years old, alongside my late Father, Mohan Harilela. My family ran restaurants, so I was always sneaking into the kitchens and eating everything I could get my hands on. Since a very young age, I have always had a passion for food, as I was constantly surrounded by it. So I decided to go to Hotel Management School Les Roches in Switzerland for some formal education.
