Green Flaxy Smoothie - for one
A great way to improve your omega-3 intake is to enjoy this smoothie, which contains 1.5 grams of omega-3 fatty acids.
Ingredients
1⁄2 c water
2 tbsp flaxseed
2 clementines, peeled
1 banana
2 cups spinach
1⁄2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 tsp. green powder
Optional Apple Slices
Add all ingredients to a blender in the order listed above and secure lid. Blitz until a smoothie consistency is formed. You may wish to add a little more water if the consistency is too thick.
Garnish with green apple slices. Enjoy
